Akebi bears fruit only around Nobember. So I asked my customer to wait until the season. To get Akebi fruits to use for my painting, I asked my family who owns a mountain to give me a permission to take Akebi. I and my family members went into the mountain and searched for it. Mountain Akebi usually has plain brown color, but we finally found beautiful, light purple Akebi. Akebi has fruits on top of the tree, so it is very dangerous to take them. I almost slipped off from the tree. Even so, I took the long vine off from it and could bring many akebi fruits back home. Afterwards, I drew 2 paintings of Akebi. The customer got one of them. The customer liked the custom-made frame too.
